Ownwell, RentRedi Team Up to Cut Landlord Property Tax Costs
Ownwell's property tax appeal service is now accessible to RentRedi's landlord base, with no fee charged unless savings are secured.
Ownwell, an Austin-based property tax and home expense company, has formed a partnership with RentRedi, a property management platform, to give landlords streamlined access to property tax appeal services, the companies announced Sept. 30, 2026.
Under the arrangement, RentRedi's community of landlords can use Ownwell's savings-or-free model, meaning clients are charged only if a successful reduction in their property tax bill is achieved. The structure lowers the financial barrier for independent landlords who may lack the resources to pursue appeals on their own.

Property taxes represent one of the more significant recurring costs for rental property owners, and unchallenged assessments can erode margins on investment properties over time. The partnership positions both companies to address that pressure point directly within an existing landlord-focused ecosystem.

By integrating Ownwell's appeal capability into that environment, landlords can manage a broader range of ownership costs from a single point of access.
